Receiving bids while item isn't searchable yet

This is my first item I'm selling here so excuse my lack of knowledge if this is something obvious. I listed my item this afternoon and got a first bid 5 minutes later. Second bid after four hours. I still can't search for it (it says it takes 24 hrs at least to be searchable) even using the item number so how are others seeing it? I have 119 views and 19 watchers also.

I found your item listed under Mercury -  Comet.

In fact yours is listed first.

It can take UP TO 24 hours for an item to index in search. Most of the time it's much sooner. Sometimes it's immediate, as you found out.

It can happen - I had listed a coat and was uploading my second item when I noticed the item had a question.  I thought I was seeing things or it was a glitch, but it was a buyer.  It had an auction w/BIN, and since I wanted to move it out, I relisted it w/the BIN price and told the buyer to do the BIN as soon as I made the changes.

That probably happens when a buyer is set up to receive alerts for either new listings from a given seller, or for a particular item that they are after; so they would get to see it before Cantseeme indexes it.

Why can't I see it though? Does that mean that not everyone can see it? That's what I'm worried about

Everyone sees it. Yours is #5 of 8 1963 Comets. Two things you could be doing to not find it. Sign out, then search, also make sure you are searching vehicles and not parts and accessories.

Tried that as well as using another device, browser and a VPN. Can somebody send me a link of the listing they are seeing?

Yep, yesterday...exactly 10 minutes from listing time to sale time.  Doesn't happen often, but it's great when it does!

Not always, but I wish it did.

I made a massive mistake when I listed an item on a BIN.

Item sold within 5 minutes.

If the item had not been searchable for 24 hrs, I might have seen the mistake before the item sold.

the location is listed as Michigan.......and the shipping doesn't seem to be able to switch to anything except US........so that is the reason you can't see it.......because there's no shipping to Canada......
