Received email from Paypal with a received payment notification. Ebay is not showing sold item?

I received email notification that I received payment for an item I had listed and in fact when I go into paypal it does show that I received the money, but Ebay does not have it as "sold" , it's still under active.  I am not able to print a shipping label through Ebay.   I called Ebay and they say that it was very strange and that they will report the incident.  In the meantime they say I could print shipping label from paypal, which for some reason charges more for the shipping than what the buyer paid.  Not sure how to proceed.  Has anyone else had this experience

Did you have the item listed somewhere else?  I had it happen and have seen several posts about same thing,  and sometimes it was later a seller realized they had it listed on Bonanza for example........

And when you click into the Paypal transaction it gives you all the ebay information like below?

I'd say that if you can wait a while, you should do so. Let the dust settle and don't do anything right now. Check your eBay status for that item later this afternoon and see if eBay is now showing it as Sold, like PayPal.

Post the item number here and maybe someone else will spot something else, like... I don't know, maybe you accidentally listed it twice, or hit Quantity 2 by mistake, for example...

I only have it listed once and only on Ebay

Did you log directly into your PP account to see that information?

Do you have your PayPal account linked to eBay?

If not, eBay won't know that you got paid.

Item # is 192533717554.  I do have a paypal account that is linked to ebay.

Yes.   See my previous post regarding a purchase of a cancelled, non-live listing.  When I went into PayPal I saw he had made the payment and I received an email to my non-EBAY affiliated account, but EBAY gave me no notice of this “sale” and, additionally, as the buyer had been previously refunded and the item listing cancelled, I re-listed the item and sold to someone else.

There is an issue somewhere.   I have also seen people asking about messsages not coming through on EBAY and I have also been experiencing that.

I would certainly hope it does not sell again before you can get this fixed.

As long as it shows when you log in directly to your PP account, it must be sold if the transaction page shows the item number and ebay sale.

Although it does not show sold via ebay.

Thanks again to all.  I have ended the item just in case.  I am going to go ahead and ship the item since when I did call paypal they said everything was in order on their side. No issues with them.  I was able to print label from paypal with tracking at same rate as ebay.
