I got a message this morning from eBay titled:
Update your listings now to ensure they comply with recent security, policy and listing requirements updates.
But no listings are identified in the message. I've looked in the seller hub and don't see anything flagging specific listings. How am I to know which listings are needing to be updated?

I got the same message. Probably a mass mailing.
HOWEVER a week ago when they announced new requirements in certain categories they also included a link to a tool to review your listings to see which ones need anything.
I used the tool, came up with about 5 that needed fixing, and fixed them. On that basis I do not have that require updating,.
SO just maybe a MISSING list is a good sign that you are in compliance.
So why did I get the note?
Most likely they sent it to everyone and relied on the Bots to fill any that needed fixing. Easier than doing it by a live person.

I've been getting this same message occasionally, for well over a year. It tells me that my listings will not be automatically relisted, as a result of not taking action.
That's fine with me. I prefer my listings not be relisted automatically.
I choose the selections that are available when I make the listing. If they are not in line with eBay's whatever policies, then they should not be offered in my listing to use.
I have ignored everyone of these, and will continue to.

I got that message last weekend and was also confused as to where the list of items was. That question resolved itself 2 days later when a column was added in the seller hub active listings headed "item specifics". That's where the so-called list shows up - it's simply a notice on each item that needs required info added. Pain in the rear as most of the time the info is already in the listing, but they want it in their special boxes also. Sigh.....................

Looks like they just added a bunch of "required specifics". You can see a new column in "manage active listings" which will flag the ones you need to change.
The rest is the rant: As usual, new policy with no notification or cs rep training. When you see the old guys get all salty, it's because of the litany of poor decisions. It's a comedy routine at this point for me.

Since you can see a new link in Seller Hub navigation for Item Specifics, could you provide the link that underlies that column? Either click it and capture from the address bar, or right-click-copy the link location. I'd like to add it to the list we are collecting to help others. Thanks.

Add recommended - this just showed up in my list - the last 2 lines are what you will see in that "item specifics" column box if you need to fix it.

I went looking and found one item - they wanted length and width for some NOS tissue paper I had out there. Meanwhile, this is one of those "nonperforming" listings they get on you about.

I got the exact same message. First I thought it was a spoof since I forward my messages to email. When confirmed it wasn’t a spoof (ebay messages) I got confused for a second and decided to ignore it... at least until any of the blues can chime in about this. @Anonymous brian@ebay alan@ebay

No worries. We all appreciate you clearing up the confusion. @city*satins I suggest marking Trinton's reply as the solution.
