Re: Reactivate Ebay Account

Was your account restricted for some reason? You've only been on ebay 1 month.  Did you sign on to managed payments? Did you link your bank account with Payoneer so you could be paid? Have you registered your account with your country as a business?  This is all necessary and required.  If you need more help go here:

What did the email say and what did it tell you to do?

There is no point in expecting us to guess when you are the only one who has that the information available.

Re: Reactivate Ebay Account

I get those emails/texts all the time from eBay, PayPal and Amazon. Sometimes they say my account has been restricted or needs re-activation because of a security problem. They will have a link or phone number you can access for help (DON'T DO IT).

They normally have a link you click on which will allow you to verify and connect to your account.  AT THAT POINT YOU HAVE GIVEN ALL YOUR LOGIN INFORMATION TO THE SCAMMER/PHISHER.

Do no click on any emails not from within the eBay system. If you can go directly to eBay and login - there is more than likely no real problem with your account (accept for a phishing attempt).  If in doubt or you do have a problem - only contact eBay through their site or their official Facebook page.

If you have followed a link from email/messaging - go to your account as fast as possible and change your password.

Re: Reactivate Ebay Account

Official communications from eBay will come as eBay Messages to your account on the eBay site.

You need to log into your eBay account independently (not though a link or email) and verify whether this messages really came from eBay.
