Randomly permenantly restricted.

I have been selling on eBay for about a month now, I've made very minimal amount of money and all of a sudden last week I got suspended. I chatted with an eBay customer service representative and they told me I had to submit files. I submitted, the receipt of what I was selling and messaged them back. Then to make sure eBay had received my document I had spoken to another representative telling me they had. Later, Tuesday the 17th, I receive a reply stating I need to wait for the orders I had received the day of suspension to be delivered to the customer before they could proceed with my request for reinstatement. I had then spoken to another representative assuring me that I will get my account back, lying directly to me. They had said "I know this may seem a little difficult but this information is required from all the member, however as you have already sent the relevant details that were asked from your side so need not to worry, as our relevant team is already reviewing the details and very soon you will start receiving your payouts." and then went on to say "Once the details has been verified you will definitely get the email for the same, please be rest assured as I am positive of it.". Fast forward to today, the orders were finally delivered through USPS and I reply back to the reinstatement email saying that they were delivered. Now today, within the time I sent that email and now I have been permanently suspended. The email that I received is here:

"

We are committed to reducing both fraud and negative buying experiences on eBay. To maintain a safe marketplace, we sometimes restrict selling activity, end active items, or suspend accounts until an additional review can be completed. We have completed an additional review of your account and show that your account was originally restricted because it was in violation of eBay policy and your behavior posed a risk to the eBay community.

Because of this, we have decided that your account will remain indefinitely restricted from selling. We have taken this action out of concern for the safety and integrity of the eBay Community. Due to eBay policy, we cannot provide you with more specific information.

We understand that this situation may be frustrating; however, although future emails from you will be read, we will be unable to respond to any further requests to reinstate your selling privileges.

Please keep in mind that members who are restricted are prohibited from registering new accounts with eBay, or selling on eBay using any existing accounts. Although, you are still eligible to purchase items with this account, please note that eBay reserves the right to suspend existing accounts as well as new accounts opened by anyone in the same household of a restricted user or by any other associates of a restricted user. "

I cannot figure out what I did wrong and I have not received any good reason. Now I cannot receive any money that I had made from selling on eBay.

Re: Randomly permenantly restricted.

Further more, there is no such thing as a reseller for these goods and I am not doing anything illegal by any means.

Re: Randomly permenantly restricted.

I was a kickstarter backer, and only backers can purchase 1 of these items.

this is the store page, it says nothing about not being allowed to sell. On top of this inside the kit is $110 ish dollars worth of parts, but I’m selling them for $75 + shipping.

Re: Randomly permenantly restricted.

Unless I missed something in your original post, there is nothing to suggest that you were suspended because of the specific items that you are selling or that there was a complaint from the manufacturer.  It seems that lately ebay has been suspending quite a few new/newish sellers and they are never explain why.  I would be very frustrated if I was in that situation.

Re: Randomly permenantly restricted.

I’ve seen this, it really feels like a scam to me because I have a decent chunk of change for someone like me that I can no longer withdraw because I am suspended.

Re: Randomly permenantly restricted.

I don't think it is a scam although I don't agree with the way that they do it.  It doesn't seem fair unless they give you some sort of proof as to why they are not paying you for what you sold. But that does seem to be the norm in these cases. According to what I've read on here it eventually goes to your state and you can claim it there but as I'm in Canada, I don't really anything about it.

Re: Randomly permenantly restricted.

Well it’s especially bad because from the looks of it I haven’t done anything wrong. And then no reason for it, and I can’t get my money. It just isn’t right.

Re: Randomly permenantly restricted.

Not everything you buy can be resold by you.

You need to read the fine print in the terms, especially 3.3 you may not sell rent lease lend sublicense or distribute without prior written agreement from Bambu Lab. That is the written licensing agreement we are talking about.

Re: Randomly permenantly restricted.

Not true. Some things you cannot sell here.  Try selling an OTTER cell phone case.  Try it.  I tried selling my husband's  old case. He paid 60.oo plus tax. I wanted 10.99.  Ebay shut the ad down.  I called and was informed that I could not sell those cases unless I was an authorized seller.  I tossed it in the recycle bin.   You can't sell some things here.   This is NOT America. This is Ebay and Ebay is told by these companies to not allow these items to be sold here. Ebay has to follow procedures too.   Another one that is not permitted is those ROSETTA STONE language programs.  That one I learned from a post here years ago.    There is a list of items not allowed here.  Perhaps someone knows where to find it and can post it here.

Re: Randomly permenantly restricted.

If this was the case, why wasn’t I treated like you? Why wasn’t the listing just taken down and me being given a warning? Seems extreme to completely suspend my account indefinitely.

You are 100% wrong. That is talking about the software.

Re: Randomly permenantly restricted.

This might be helpful info, I am curious the list of items not allowed. I don’t think it’s the case though because Bambu labs is a relatively new company that has only been selling items on their store for about 5 months.

Was that a response from EBAY?  Some poor grammar would lead me to believe that you were dealing with a scammer and not ebay itself.

Lift your left leg at midnight to start off on the right foot. Happy new Year!

Re: Randomly permenantly restricted.

Well you said you cannot figure out what you did wrong and you insist you did nothing wrong. And maybe if your attitude was oops I must have been selling something prohibited so I'll stop you might have escaped being permanently banned.  You have left feedback for selling 12 Kickstarter stretch goals from BambuLabs.  Their website says this item is limited to one purchase per customer.  It was a dollar offer to Kickstarter backers.  ONE per customer.  Obviously you illegally acquired more than one and they found out and now you're banned.

Have a good night.

The OP was selling hardware (specifically parts/accessories), not software.

"3.3 You may not sell, rent, lease, lend, sublicence or distribute the entirety or part of the Software to any third party without prior written permission from Bambu Lab. Nonetheless, you may make a one-off permanent transfer of the entire licence to the Software to another party along with the transfer of ownership of your Bambu Lab device, provided that: (1) the transfer must include your Bambu Lab device and all the Bambu Lab Software; and (2) you do not retain all or part of the Software copies; and (3) the party that receives the Bambu Lab device and Software has read and accepted all the terms and conditions of these Terms."

The verbiage highlighted in pink was from a customer service representative through what appears to be live chat. Their English is not always spot on.
