On 9/25/2025, I got the red pop-up message saying "Your seller account is restricted. Resolve open issues by XXX to avoid further account restrictions." Even though I got this pop up, I was still able to sell and stuff without any issues. eBay also did not send me any message or email saying what it was for. I quickly resolved the issues and verified my ID; now I am just waiting for it to be completed.
I just finished talking to customer support as well, and didn't get much other than him saying eBay occasionally does random checks on sellers to make sure they are following policy, etc. He then said that my ID was verified and they are just waiting for a payment dispute from a buyer to resolve from a month ago. The dispute was not listed in the open issues section when I resolved them. This dispute arose after I sold shoes through eBay authenticity, and then the no feedback buyer made one a week after delivery in an attempt to get free shoes.
Anyone have any idea what is going on?
