Random Credits/Refunds of Final Value Fee Per Order FIXED Fees (Old Orders)

Is anyone else seeing 'random' credits/refunds of the .40 fees from past orders?

Just had a payout that was .40 more than it should have been. There was a refund of the Fixed Fee from a June 07 order in the detail...

Another account had a payout for .40 cents...(only) from an April 14th order.

1 domestic, 1 international no other similarities.

It looks like I had a spate of these that posted on October 6th.  In my case, the 50+ transactions all ended up being credits.  Better than the other direction, but it still would be nice to have some justification from eBay when they go about making adjustments like this so long after the fact.  Just a little concerned, these might just as mysteriously be revered again in the future...

I have 4 per-order fixed fee credits from orders placed on May 26th, May 28th, July 6, and July 7th. In my case, 4 buyers purchased multiple items in separate transactions within a short amount of time (minutes).  I combined their orders for shipping and refunded excess shipping charges. I received fee credits for the refunds the same day the refunds were issued.

My guess is a tech issue. It is possible the buyers did not make separate transactions. They purchased all the items together in one transaction. eBay is just now getting around to crediting my account for the per-order fixed fee. Again, just a guess I came to after looking at the original orders.
