Shocked to see the end of Toolhaus especially after using it a few days ago.  And yes, the ID I checked deserved to go on the BBL.  I guess we're back to not knowing.

It was a good run.

I'm not familiar with Toolhaus. What did it tell you/show you that eBay doesn't?

You could look up several aspects of a member's entire feedback history (not just the past 12 months) including all negs & neutrals ever received or left, feedback revisions etc.

You plugged in a user name, and it displayed only the person’s negs and neuts

I used it a few times years and years ago as a novelty, but since my BBL is empty and I don’t believe in vetting my buyers....

Thanks!

So did it give any information beyond what checking a member's feedback (both given and received) on eBay tells us? Or was it just easier to access?

We  can click on the negative and neutral feedback for the last twelve months, and the negatives and neutrals older than that are still available, aren't they? (Acknowledging that one would have to look page by page if the comments are older than a year . . . )

It exposed feedback collusion between any 2 trumpers leaving feedback for each other.

Thanks! Did it show more than the number of feedback revisions (which is available on eBay, isn't it?) Did it show actual before revision and after revision comments?

It basically just collated information that's available to everyone.  But going back over hundreds of feedback over years is nearly impossible to do manually.

As I mentioned in the previous post, it just gathered information that's available in a member's feedback profile, but it saved  LOTS of labor going through page after page if you wanted to look back over more than 12 months.

No - the software Win wrote used data scraping or screen scraping - so it was actually publicly available, just masked by eBay.  It wouldn't show revisions.

I don't vet my buyers either but I have used it to check out people who post here. Could have used it a couple of minutes ago but had to resort to actually scrolling through all the history. Fortunately I learned all I needed to know in the first couple of pages.

The handy thing about toolhaus was that instead of clicking through each page one by one, it put buyers feedback left for others on one simple page. It was a time saver.

Doesn't your feedback page show a "Feedback left for others" tab that shows all feedback left for others on one page (or however many pages necessary)?

And this would be the issue.

If someone only has 10 feedback, picking out individual comments or red donuts is easy.

If someone has 10,000 feedback in the past 6 months, how much scrolling and time is involved in looking through it all for the negs/neutrals?  Too much.

Toolhaus made it possible to see just the negs/neutrals out of all the feedback.  Was quite a time saver on accounts with lots of feedback.

Or when a buyer came to the board and said they have never left a neg. You look on there and find 10.

Everyone has options. Just be sure the best option is right for you.
