Why is my listing (235868764178) removed when another listing of the exact same item (166717363819) is not?

What dd the email say that Ebay sent?

The eBay cops can only handle 1 removal of the gang at a time just like traffic cops - tag you are it.

must be wording on your listing. Check the mail what ebay said
I just bought a loader from a seller that sold like 1400 of them. And it isnt illegal.

They often go by key words. One flagged word and your toast. Don't relist it. You can be banned from selling for life. They will keep that listing and it's photos until the end of time.

Removed Listings Policy
If your listing is removed or hidden by eBay, you may see similar listings still active on the site. This could be for several reasons:
If you think another listing isn't following our policies, please let us know and we'll investigate.

While I'm sure this is sarcasm, the OP may not realize that.

I know that seems unfair. They don't catch all the listings that need to be removed at the same time and they will always miss some since the site has 1.5-2 billion active listings. It is a lot to police, even with a robot.
The email you got from Ebay would tell us more. You may not agree with it, but it should give more info.

Guess you could ask them to be certain.

You may take small comfort: judging by the other seller's negative feedback, whoever purchases the item in question probably won't receive it.
Oh, and the other guy is a "think tank." 🤣

Actually was replying to the OP via the use of a parallel comparison with a dash or two bit of humor - many times folks find it easier to understand. Found it very useful in communications with customer/clients over my career in sales/marketing in convey the Features, Functions, Advantages and Benefits of the products and services I was peddling and in just general day to day communications. Sarcasm or being sarcastic certainly not intended.

I don't necessarily disagree, but sometimes the way the sarcasm is written, regulars realize it is sarcasm by new or newer people to the threads don't.
