my buyer claims damage want a refund,i said thats ok he can have it return the item through ebay returns.he wants my address doesnt want to go through ebay he hasnt sent me pictures of damage but on receiving back i will fully refund him but i asked him to do it through ebay he wont hes demanding my address
I agree with you. Don't provide your address. If you dont go through Ebay you aren't protected. If he doesnt return it, no refund. Keep all of the communication between you two in case Ebay needs to get involved.
Your right, reply to them simply Return for refund by going to purchase history & click return. Then wait for them to open a return case. They aren't required to send pictures & many buyer won't
The only other thing is if it was insured. If it was you may want to ask them to hold on to it & packaging and then refund them & file your claim Was it insured? Now I see you are UK based so not sure about how packages & insurance work there. Sorry

Let him send it back to you, that way he pays the return postage and has no coverage under the MBG. If he's pulling any kind of fraud on you he has no recourse without opening a case.
