For two days the quick listing tool has been down. Sellers can only use the advanced listing tool to list items, and it takes 4-10x as long to use. It's terribly glitchy across multiple platforms and browsers. As someone who PAYS Ebay every month for a store (not to mention thousands in other various fees, this level of incompetence is simply unbearable. Ebay should issue credits and refunds for this down time. I am losing hundreds of dollars in sales because of this.
If you are implementing a new piece of software, at the very least keep the old one working well.
If you are having the same issue, please reply here. Hopefully it will get to someone with some control of this situation.

Give us the ability to select multiple pictures to upload with click over to our PC once as before! So time consuming, AND easy to forget what was already chosen.
On ther other hand, I really like not having to click and wait for other pages to load when choosing categories and o submit.

Hi -
As a store subscriber we want to help you maxmize sales. The additional detail we ask for in the advanced listing tool is with the intent of making your listings more discoverable in search and browse. We launched a new version of it this week and it is considerably faster than the old version. Please give it a try, if there is something particularly difficult compared to the quick listing tool please let me know.
@wohrmada All very well, but wouldn't it have been advisable to also code some way for the listings made with the Quick Tool to be able to be converted to the ALT format?

Hi-
You can definitely revise listings made with the quick listing tool, you don't need to end and relist. If you're seeing something different please let me know.

Letting you know as asked...
First, please recognize that by forcing a beta system into a production environment with little or no notification (personally, I didn't get the message...even still, one email about it? Really?) you are screwing up our businesses and costing us money. Take the same care with our businesses that you'd take, for example, replacing an internal ebay accounting system. Listing functionality is mission critical to store holders, random changes and beta software doesn't cut it, especially considering the thousands we pay you every month. This is feeling like the eBay mobile app all over again...thank goodness you've put that back to something decent, it only took a year.
Second, you ask what's not working in the new tool. Besides being overall slower, there are 2 key bits of functionality that don't carry over from the quick listing tool:
1) Default information from our profile is not pre-populated...manually entering my paypal address for every listing...honestly?
2) Shipping estimates by carrier populated within the listing form...choosing shipping that's the best value for our customers is difficult enough without having to launch a seperate estimator tool and re-enter all of the data.
These are deal breakers for me. I actually did about 100 listings in the original Hub tool version that kept the default listing information, and it wasn't too bad, had some issues but at least it was usable. If you fix these two things at a MINIMUM, I could get behind the tool.
Ideally, you'd be adding templates functionality that is already prevalent in third party applications and in Turbo Lister.

I have been having the same issue since thursday. I have called 4 times; each time I have been told that they don't see any record of this being reported by other sellers. Each time I am told that a support ticket will be issued and I will be given a call back to follow up on the problem.... I have never received a call back and the problem continues. I have hundreds of listings, am top rated and the largest seller on Ebay for these particular products. Every day that goes by that variations are out of stock means the loss of thousands of dollars in revenue. I am at the end of my rope with this.
