Question

Would you have concerns if a buyer sent a best offer with one of the conditions being that you must leave positive feedback immediately. 

Just looking for some perspective.

It bothers me when a "Buyer" demand something from me that he or she would have received anyway.

My actions would depend on my mood and how business was that day.

Today? Tell them no and block them....

And by the way, I always leave FB when I ship the item.

Lol, I like that FC&P.  He uses words like " COMPULSIVE LIARS, MAGGOTS,  NEGATIVE CROOK, LYING PINOCCHIO, KICK'EM OUT, SCUMBAGS"

all in capitol letters of course.

You can tell with some of the sellers comments that what he is out for is a Refund and Keep the Item. or a partial discount, neither of which I will do. 

The weird part was that he didn't open up an NSAD, but a doesn't fit return??? Then insisted I send him the money for the return label, which I did. I want it back and then I want him gone. Well he's already blocked.

His message to sellers after the sale kind've says I pay, they leave feedback immediately. That's the way it's done. Not exact words of course.

Of course you can. Payment doesn't unlock the ability to leave feedback. This is why some non-paying bidders have false positives calling them out for not paying.

On one of the feedback pages, out of 25 individual items, 14 of them were negative in capitol letters. One sellers was brave enough to say that everything was fine until the didn't provide feedback immediately.

You can tell some sellers sent partial refunds, but that didn't stop another crushing feedback. I cannot believe this buyer is still on here. Holy smokes.

Why did you even accept his offer is the feedback left is so awful?

Whenever I get an offer, that's usually the first thing I do (especially since mine don't have best offer enabled)

I know you don't sell much clothing - but you really should put measurements in the listing so the buyers can tell if it will fit them.

That is a really good question. Honestly, I don't always look at feedback when an item is under a certain amount. Add on top having the flu and my brain has been working backwards quite a bit lately.

Sounds like someone who often fishes for partial refunds or even a free item no matter the cost. Is it possible to report this buyer to eBay? I hope all goes well for you.

I think doing so would simply reinforce the existing consensus that you should stay away from any dealings with that doofus.

It sounds like he has an overinflated sense of his own feedback value ("I've got 100% Positive and I'm determined to keep it!" without understanding that he can't get anything less as a buyer), or else he thinks that if you've left a Positive comment, you're somehow precluded from taking action against him in future if necessary, such as an Unpaid Item dispute.

I would stop responding and put him on your Blocked Bidder List.

Other than sending him money to return the item, I have not said a word and I won't. Two days have now passed and there is no tracking recorded as of now. Believe me he was blocked as fast as I can type and that's pretty darn fast.

I have reported him with examples and how often he abuses the sellers. I sure hope someone pays attention.

I only leave positive feedback (or any really) AFTER the item has been delivered and either some time goes by indicating that they are keeping the item or they leave it for me.  There is so much that can go wrong between the time they pay and it is considered done.

Haha. You have a real crazy on your hands. This is not the kind of person who will take being blocked very well. Is he also a seller? Why this need to build up his feedback? No amount of positive feedback will cover the nasty negative he has been leaving.  It is unfortunate eBay does not allow sellers to leave negative feedback, because you could have written a doozy.
