Question about "acceptance scan"

I have an item sold around midnight on 1/21, picked up by my mail carrier on 1/22. eBay still shows it as "label has been printed".

I checked the usps site and it says "Your package is on its way to a USPS facility. Sign up to   get  updates, and we'll send you a delivery date and time when available."

Ok...if it's on the way to their facility, that means it's in their possession, right?

Is this the USPS new terminology for "accepted"?

Not to my knowledge
If you click tracking history it never shows anything but you creating the label at 11:25AM on the 21st.
Your carrier never scanned it & it hasn't even received any scans along the way.
I would hit the get updates and have then text or email you
This has always helped me if a package went into space !!!
I always end up with something to start showing.

Any of mine that are picked up & in the system show this
