After I bought the veg-o-matic, I noticed it was supposed to have 3 blades with it. This one has NO blades. Would you sell the device alone? Or would you redonate it?

Best to go with pass it on.
If you decide to sell show it with NO blades: State it in title no blades,
and of course in description and condition locations.

Re-donate it.

What does research show about those listed? You never know what parts folks have, need or can resource.
For the right Buyer, everything is viable for sale.

Amen..
Even empty boxes apparently.. LOL
I shouldn't laugh I have bought my fair share of boxes for designer shoes- bought the shoes sans box and then the box as it ups the value for resale..
Also those old tempered glass plates that go inside microwaves.. I have a BUNCH of these and people buy them- I haven't listed them because they will be costly to ship.
Everyman's trash is some man's treasure I suppose-

Curious how long ago you bought it and why you didn't return it?

You could try looking up veg-o-matic parts and see if there is a market for replacement parts. I parted out a juicer, just because I didn't want to ship the whole thing, and did better on parts than the whole thing was selling for. There used to be a regular poster here that only sold small appliance parts. She bought them whole and took them apart.

That is a good idea, who was that guy who used to hack those things on infomercials?

I parted out several small appliances last year. Everything sold pretty quick and I avoided adding a bunch of stuff to the landfill.

Most thrift stores do not take returns.

I'm looking for parts for my vintage Bass O Matic.

Did the Seller indicate in the description (and title) that it was being sold without blades? I would NEVER sell an item that wasn't complete. For one thing, people DON'T (or can't) read. They look at the pictures on their phones, & I don't need the potential hassle or give the Buyer a reason to request a return. Hope you can resolve the matter. Are you able to return it?

They never said they bought it on eBay. I think they bought it at a reale shop to sell and found it was incomplete after the purchase. I got that impression from using "redonate" as their solution.

But wait, there's more, replacement blades are sold on Ebay if you want to take that route.
