Question about Photo Orientation

I'm having an issue with my photos showing up upside down or sideways. I take them with my iPad. It looks like a fix for this is to  only take photos in landscape mode with the home button on the right? I'd like to be able to take some long photos (portrait mode) and post them. Also I'm not quite sure why some photos are showing up sideways. Thanks for any help.

There is an option on your iPad to adjust your photo, so that it appears upright on your listing.

After you take your photo, there will be a line of options at the top right of the screen.  One of these is for "Edit."  Click on that.

After you click on "Edit," you will see several options on the left edge of your screen.  One of these is clumsily supposed to indicate "turning" your image.  Each time you click on that, it adjusts your photo 90 degrees; so keep on clicking until your image is upright.  Once it's in the right position, click "Done" at the top right on your screen.

This takes a little experimenting; but stick with it, and you'll be able to figure it out.

You bet -- glad it worked out for you.

On that same screen (to the left) is a reduction percentage key, in case you'd like to reduce the image of a smaller item.  Try playing with that, as well!
