If you participate in the Marketing Services on a Cost-Per-Click basis, than you have to pay money for each and every click, however if you participate on a Cost-Per-Sale Basis, now what? How do you avoid paying anything unless the item sells? Cost Per Click.jpg

Promoted Listings

To me cost per sale sounds like PL Standard.

"If it sold FAST, it was priced too low" - also Reese Palley

Promoted Listings

It sounds to me like that as well, however the terms are confusing. Also when I clicked on EDIT PROMOTED LISTING, a small window appears on the screen. Inside that window it says EDIT PROMOTED LISTING in a Blue Button on the bottom right, so I click it, and the small window closes. It doesn't allow me to Edit.

Promoted Listings

I never understood the per-click fee. It sounded like a 'view' thing from potential buyers looking at your promoted listing(s). Meaning every time someone looked at your listing, you get charge a fee. That can add up quickly!

If that would be true, what if a buyer / member is mad or upset at the seller for maybe a previous transaction or communication and just keeps repeatedly clicking on sellers promoted listings?

If I was eBay, I would just charge a FLAT FEE for a seller who wants to run a promoted listing based on what selling duration period they choose.

As one poster stated a few months ago. If everyone paid for promoted listings, how are the listings put in order for fair play and views?
