Promoted Listings, I Just Don't Know

Today I got a call from eBay inviting me to try Promoted Listings. I receive no offer of a credit or anything. I had planned on canceling and relisting an item I had the wrong size on. Now get this. Before I cancelled it I was 2nd shown when you searched for this item. I counted 11 listings with the title of this Designer's name that were NOT this designer's item ( thought this was a no no). I had 7 watchers on this item. I relisted the item and with correct size, better pics and then signed it up for the promoted thing. Now It is 23 on the list and eBay can't even tell me how many clicks have been made due to technical difficulties. ARE YOU KIDDING ME> eBay called ME and can not even show me if anyone is looking at the dang thing. So much for getting those last minuet Christmas gifts. Love the fact that other sellers are getting away with using the designers name and then in details state the item is either handmade or brand unknown. REMOVING those would probably help me get the real thing sold.....Think I might cancel this promoted thing. I don't want to pay them anymore than I already am...Thoughts

Never understood the value of PM if someone ignores that useless Best Match and does a price search....

I tried Promoted Listings for three months.

I was NOT impressed and gave up on that experiment.

It’s a glorified Bold Title or Gallery Plus upgrade which only benefits eBay and I’ll not be trying it again. Ever.
