I have toyed with my promoted listings the last few days, and have noticed some strange discrepancies.
On 7/19 I ended my campaign and had created a new promoted listings campaign. On the dashboard it only shows that 1,800 items were in this campaign when I had selected all of my 12,000+ items. Then I ended it today, created a new one on 7/21 and now it only shows 3,750 listings in the campaign even when I selected all of them. Then when I go to my seller hub, and I clicked through every single page (200 at a time) and there it shows that all of my items are being promoted.
I called eBay about this and they have created a IT ticket for this. Not sure what in the world is going on here, but our sales have fallen off a cliff big time since Wednesday, and I believe it has to do something with Promoted Listings General being borked on eBays end. This caused our sales to take an almost 50% drop each day since Wednesday.
Anyone else noticing some goofy things going on with your promoted listings campaign, and if not, I'd take a look. Another day, another good old eBay issue.
