I'm a new seller on eBay. I started selling on August 15, 2018, when I listed my first item. I saw 'promote listing' while finishing my post and decided to give it a try. When I saw I sold about 10 on my first day, I decided to cancel this since it was going to cost me a lot of money. I looked on the web and clicked on a link that guided me to the promoted listings hub, however, I got the error' This service is currently unavailable for your account' so I thought that it was not enabled on my side which was a huge relief.
Fast forward to today, I have checked my next invoice for the next month, and I found 1.80$ on promoted listings for almost every purchase. This would mean about 100$ more by today (probably more than twice that when the september invoice comes). What is going? Why didn't eBay let me cancel this promoted listing on the first day? Why can I still not cancel today (100$ less out of my pocket)? How do I cancel right now?
Don't want to lose a lot more money, please someone reply as soon as you guys can, by tomorrow in the morning I'll probably have about 5 more sold.
