Promote listing

So what other alternative ways can I do to promote my listing and what I'm selling apart from promote ad rate? I'm trying to figure out what can I do to get some selling going on. Unless, Ad rate is the only way, I don't know where else to share it.

You can try sharing your items on social media platforms, or running advertising on other sites directing people to your eBay store or listings.  There's plenty of options that may not involve eBay at all except to eventually direct people to your listings, but it depends on what you're willing to put the effort into.

For the types of items you have for sale, I would suspect something like Facebook Groups that are geared towards collectors of video games or other similar items may be a good option, as long as that group's rules allow you to post your items for sale.  Some do and some don't, so always be careful to check.  I don't sell in the same categories, but that's the first thing to came to mind.
