Recently, I encountered an issue with my eBay listings. The items and their packaging were produced in a country where English is not the primary language, and it's nearly impossible to find these products with English labels. As a result, eBay rejects my listings because they don't contain English. However, these are authentic items in their original packaging, so including English isn't feasible. I make sure to provide all the necessary information from the packaging in the listing to ensure buyers understand what I’m selling. Yet, I've noticed that similar items without English labels are being sold on eBay without issue. What could be causing this, and how can I resolve it?

If you are listing on eBay.com, or any eBay website which uses English, then you need to post your descriptions in English. You can easily translate the packages using google image search/google lens.
For example:

😳WHOA! -I know how to use Lens to find similar-looking objects, but are you saying you can just upload a photo of a package and it will translate the whole thing to English?

OMG!! I have had this old cloisonne belt buckle FOREVER and I didn't know how to get it translated because I didn't even know WHICH language it was!! Chinese apparently! HOLY SHHHHHHHHHH
My mind is so blown I think I need a nap!

Optical character recognition has been around for years, it's much, much older than AI.

Funny you say that because for at least a few years I'd been thinking it SHOULD be doable by now. I just didn't realize it was through google lens. My eyes get blind to things I never use, like how 'Translate' is an option right under the image panel.
