Problems Selling to a buyer in Canada

I am using the global shipping program and I have a buyer in Canada who wants to purchase and listing.  They keep getting an error message saying that the Seller will not ship to Canada.  I have sold and shipped to Canada in the past with out a problem.  Could this be related to the Canadian Postal Strike?  I thought the strike was over and shipping has resumed.  Did the Global shipping program suspend shipments to Canada?  Please let me know if any one has any information on this.

Re: Problems Selling to a buyer in Canada

The item the buyer is trying to buy is Tonka trucks.   I do not think I have the CPAP items set to ship internationally just for that reason.  Here is the listing I am trying to sell.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/306036660297

I took a look at this item, along with several of your other listings, and it took me a bit to find one that is EIS eligible The following item appears to be good and can be shipped to Canada through EIS.

As for the Tonka trucks, as well as a lot of your other toys, for some reason they are not showing up as EIS eligible or even available for international shipping. As to the reason that is a good question. Not sure what category you have them listed in, that could have something to do with it or there are possibly key words in the title or the description that the bots are hitting on and excluding them from EIS eligibility and it's not just Canada it appears to be EVERY foreign country.

While Canada, although not explicitly stated as being excluded the United States is the only country you can pick from the drop down list.

Re: Problems Selling to a buyer in Canada

EIS (Ebay International Shipping) the replacement for Ebay Global Shipping does checks to prevent shipping prohibited items to the destination country.

It might block CPAP supplies because they are not supposed to be sold without a prescription in the US. I have no idea what the rules are in Canada.

Sometimes the bot is wrong, but you will never get it overridden,
