Problem with buyers reneging on purchases.

On one the buyer sent me a message: "I wasn't aware that I had bought this item." What? Another buyer now is simply ignoring me, probably headed toward another sale falling through. Anybody else having this problem?

I used BIN with immediate payment required, never had that problem.

Many customers never pay after they win auction.   Better to list items as "buy it now" (immediate payment).  Only time it makes sense to list as an "auction" is if you have a very rare item that everyone wants (bidding war).

Tens of thousands of sellers are having this problem.  STOP! with the auctions & the best offers and use the fixed price, buy it now, immediate payment required platform. 

I stopped using auctions over 15 years ago due to your issue you posted.  Now when I have a sale, I always get paid.  PS Make sure to accept returns and pay for them as well.  Sorry for your frustration.

Nope no a problem. I do very few auctions and when I do, it usually for something from my personal collection that is highly desirable. ALL of my items are Buy It Now with no option to make an offer. However, I don’t require immediate payment and still get maybe only a couple of non payers out of the thousands of items I sell per year.
