Problem creating a listing from a user creted template

I have been using the old tool until today.  Today I am trying to list a product using my save templates.  When I choose the template I want to use the template loads, but there is none of the product information from the "tell us what you are selling"  

I used to scan the UPC code and them choose the template and the editing page would come up.  Thus I can't listing using my template with the catalogue information.  

I hope this was understandable.  The new tool is useless to me.

Our old templates worked for a while - then hit a brick wall.

Had to create all new templates from scratch.  Total pain!
