Private feedback non paying buyer from Philippines

Just curious if anyone else is having this issue. I sell sports cards and there is a fake bidder that has created numerous 1 to 2 feedback private accounts that is constantly bidding and not paying. He is bidding against himself multiple times usually in the last few minutes even seconds. Multiple accounts all from the Philippines. For anyone that sells sports cards he's done this to numerous different Trae Young auctions (mine and others) and this past weekend he did it to a Jaren Jackson auction I had. How do I stop this? I've blocked about 20 of these accounts and it just keeps happening over and over. If he isn't using a VPN Ebay should really look into ip bans because this is ridiculous. The simple solution would be to let us block users that keep their feedback private but heaven forbid sellers get a little assistance around here.

I have the same issue every time I try to sell a Trae Young card. Super frustrating.

Ditch the auctions, list as a fixed price with immediate payment required and it'll solve the problem.

$4000 in sales tonight only to be cut nearly in half on two auctions thanks to this recurring problem. All my listings have every single restriction set to the highest level. Auction A had Phillipines specifically blocked and somehow this guy was able to win the auction using two separate accounts BOTH from phillipines, BOTH with 1 and 2 feedback and BOTH set to private. Wasted auction. Auction B had EVERYWHERE blocked except for usa and 0 feedback bidder from china wins. Wasted auction. Why does Mercari know how to solve this problem but multi billion dollar Ebay wants to make life a living hell for sellers. Require payment before bidding. It's really not that hard. And if a bidder isn't sure how high the auction may go then just put a temporary hold for their highest allowable bid. Done, problem solved.

Twice in two weeks I’ve had my bid up and won by a zero feedback buyer from the Philippines  and have see the same scenario play out for another seller. It’s ridiculous.

Maybe it's time to list it in fixed price format with Immediate Payment Required rather than in auction form which tempts the sport bidders. And don't forget you might be able to send a Second Chance Offer to your underbidder(s).

The only way to scare these types off is what others are advising on this old thread:

Fixed price/Buy it Now selling platform

NO best offers

Immediate Payment required checked off

Accept Returns and Pay for them

You'll see less sport bidders and non payers and more serious buyers who will actually pay you.  You are on eBay to make money, not chase it.

He's done this to a Trae Young card of mine also multiple times. I've finally just blocked the Phillipines altogether since I can't figure out any other way around it.
