Hi,

I have 9 lb box and want to ship med flat rate box. I can't get the eBay rates ($13.75) to show on my listing. It always comes out at $15.50. How do I get the eBay Rate in my auction?

Change the shipping from calculated to flat price and type in the $13.75

Its in your seller preferences. You have a choice about if you want to show the on-line discount price to your buyers. I would suggest keeping it the way it is. The small profit you make between the retail price charged to the buyer and what it costs you to buy the label on-line can go towards your other expenses.

When calculating shipping pricing for your buyers you

might want to take this into consideration that.

eBay calculates your Final Value Fees based on the total amount

the buyer pays for the item.

(Price of the item + Shipping cost + Sales tax if any ) = The total the buyer pays.

So if you pay eBay $13.75 for the shipping label and you charge the buyer $13.75

for shipping you would be losing money on the shipping because eBay is going

to take whatever % they charge you for your Final Value Fees from the $13.75

I don't think that all sellers get that that little extra eBay discount.

I’ve been paying $14.25 for flat rate medium boxes for 6 months with over 50 shipped using that method. I’ve seen people paying as low as $12 and change.
