I ran out of ink. I just ordered but it will take one week and the stores don't have the ink#. Do you handwrite your invoices or do you email/attach to a message to the customer?

Ignore the question. Just ordered ink from that A* place and it's coming today. I couldn't find the ink at any stores in the city. It's that hard an ink to get.

I know it was already solved, but usually if the worst happens, I just drive to the library and print out a 10 cent B/W page. I only would if I feel it is necessary, usually I print a packing slip for buyer convenience, but in that situation, I would purchase the ink and not worry. (Just my 2 cents :P)

An Invoice is a bill that needs to be paid so if you are talking
about what to put in the package when you ship to your
customers you shouldn't be sending them an Invoice.
A Packing Slip is not a bill and it is optional if you want to
include one. So if you have no ink to print one you can ship
your packages without it.

Why print an invoice? The buyer pays from the invoice he sees when he pays.
Are you referring to packing slips?
Those are two different things.

One of which I've never looked at in my life . . . just straight to the recycling bin.

Waste of paper, save a tree and save the ink.
