I am brand new to eBay. I have a variety of items to sell. My first four items are designer eyeglasses and sunglasses. They are immaculate. Two are Ray-Bans that were never worn and have the original gift box, soft leather cover with logo, Ray-Ban cleaning cloth and Ray-Ban booklet. Same accessories with beautiful Prada and Michael Kors glasses. Very nice. I notice that most of the other sellers do not have accessories. Should I charge a percentage over their sales to be competitive. Do buyers care about these accessories, in your opinion? My listings have been on four days with no action.

It's not like the TV commercials where you list an item and someone immediately wants to buy it. You are coming across as if you know nothing about how to sell online because you show so little feedback. That makes you a magnet for scammers. What you need to do is acquire FB as a seller quickly. Start selling small items from around your house. Price them cheaply just to sell them quickly. Always leave feedback for your buyers too.
That type of interaction and quid pro quo makes you seem like you understand how online selling works. As you begin to accumulate FB as a seller, you will increase your sales. You can do this, but you need to put in some groundwork first. Remember, you are a perfect stranger to every buyer on here. Best of luck to you....

My recommendation is to end your listings and relist the items showing YOUR OWN pictures. Include in those pictures clear closeups of "Tiny scratches on lens" (for example from the MK listing). Showing stock images for brands as highly faked as Ray-ban and Prada don't help you demonstrate that YOU are selling authentic items nor does it show that you actually have the items available in hand.
Personally, I don't buy from sellers who don't take the time or effort to show their own clear pictures and write their own descriptions.
JMHO.

There's a lot of scammers out there that look for people just like you who don't have sales history and are selling really expensive items. They will get your item and then they'll file an item not as described and they'll hope that you will be angry and will ignore them and not send a label for them to ship it back and then they will get a full refund and be able to keep the item. They also can just ship you back an empty Box and eBay will most likely side with them and make you refund. You really should take the advice of the 1st person here and build some feedback up with some lower priced items first. You really do have a giant target on your back right now.

Accessories are a very saturated venue. You've got lots of competition and not a whole lot of selling experience. I would just stay competitive price wise and take your own pictures. That's important. Your prices are rather high compared to others. Also, as a new seller, offering best offers will expose you to some scammers or people who won't pay. They'll want you to text them, Pay you thru your Paypal account, which they cannot do, send it to another address, etc. Just giving you the heads up. It's the holiday season and the grinches are among us. They're every where.
Good luck and happy selling.

I didn't check all of your listings, but looked at the Ray Ban Wayfarers. As mentioned above, clear photos of the "tiny scratches on demo lens" (what's a demo lens, anyway) need to be shown.
Here's something that is even more dangerous for you... your Ray Ban listings states: "If you want to change your address, please list your address in the eBay notes or be sure to message us at the point of making your payment." This is dangerous because a buyer needs to change the address on the order, if needed. Listing another address in the eBay notes or through a message to you causes you to lose what little seller protection you have. If that's in all your listings, remove it from those, too.

I think those are (or mostly are) the OP's own photos, not stock photos.

Thank you so much for the advice. You know...we all started somewhere. And you giving of yourself thru hard won knowledge is truly appreciated. You are a good ebay seller and a good person!

why do you think I didn't take those pics myself. I worked as a photographer for my local newspaper for years. I take decent pics. Should I make them look unprofessional? If that is what I need to do, please let me know. You have all the experience. I do not.
I appreciate your time and effort answering my question.

Actually, these were all my photos. I was married to a graphic artist for years. And I was the local photographer for town newspaper.

They were all my photos. I do not use stock. When you have taken pictures most of your adult life, you do not need to steal.

Demos are the lenses you see with the logo emblazed on the bottom corner...typically. These glasses are the same you buy at the optometrist's office, only much, much cheaper, to put your prescription in. They have no magnification in them. You take the frames to your favorite eye doctor and that person does the rest. They adjust the glasses to your exact visual needs.

It's just because your pictures are so perfect and beautiful, we dont usually see that with new sellers. Take it as a compliment!

Don't change your photos to make them look worse, they're awesome!
You could say in your description: "Pictures shown are of the actual item being shipped, they are not stock photos"
But seriously take into consideration what I said about you being a giant target for scammers.
Also the other poster was correct that even if they put in a note to you to change the address that still will not protect you if they file an INR. Anytime someone wants to change the address you should always cancel the sale and make them repurchase it.
Good luck! 🥰

You have received some great advice already. I would consider removing best offer at this point in your eBay selling endeavor. Post items for exactly what you want for them as compared to similar listings. Removing BO will lesson the attempted scams and be much less hassle.
Come back here with any/all questions along the way.
At least you are not starting out with $500-$1000 items.
Best of luck.
