Hello, I have gotten my store back up and running this month after not being able to sell for about a year due to other work stuff. For most of the listings I've been using charm pricing but when I choose to add a buy it now offer on a listing I feel compelled to use a whole number in the pricing (in other words $20.00 rather than $19.95). I'm not sure why but it seems that if a buyer made an offer it would likely come as a whole number anyway. Any thoughts on this?

We use $19.87 or $19.89 all the time vs $20 for the item. Essentially the same pricing module, but to a Buyer, it is not $20.....it is "less" than that........
I get offers all the time that are not "exact" amounts ($20, $12, etc) the offer often is a variant of the amount listed and includes change ($12.75 or $12.50, etc)

Thank you for the reply. Yes, as I mentioned I do use charm pricing on fixed price listings. I was specifically referring to select items that I've added "best offer" to. Not all of our items have best offer. But in the cases where we do have "best offer" I feel compelled to abandon 19.95 in favor on 20.00. I also feel that when using charm pricing on best offer that the offer will be lower. In other words I believe for some reason that if I use 19.95 or best offer that the offer I get will be lower than if I priced it at 20.00. And, as mentioned in my initial post, I feel the offer would come through as maybe, say, 10.00 as opposed to 9.95. Am I overthinking this?

Yes. You are over thinking this.
Best offer, no best offer - list the item for the amount you want - Buyers like the amounts that are not $20 exact in my experience.
This is my posting ID - been selling here since 2004 and sell on AZ as well. I never use $20 even - ymmv
