Does anybody else find it interesting that from September last year to mid March this year Ebay was offering 100 adverts with no more than £1 charges, they offered this every two - three weeks WITHOUT FAIL until Coronavirus hit, then they realised how much money they were going to make with everyone at home and out of work so they stopped the special offers, they are however taking out price-gougers, can Ebay self-terminate??!!

There is a difference between price gouging and business profit ... what you are describing (or supposing) is simply business profit. It is not unethical.

Here on ebay.com, we've heard the rumor that ebay.co.uk is linking UK users to the US discussion boards.

ebay.com didn't offer the same promotion you've described, so US members can't really make a reasoned comment on it.

Some would say this simply was a smart business move to stop the special offers.
