Price gouging during national emergency

I am an eBay member for over 20 years with over 2,000 positive feedbacks. I am appalled that these sellers are marking up essentials 100%. It is illegal to sell essential items at more than 10% above regular price during a national emergency.

 Ebay has banned the sale of masks, wipes and hand sanitizer. 
They are removing the listings as fast as they can.

If you see listings for other items where sellers are price gouging for items that are necessary for public health you can report the listings. 

Report listings using the "Report item" link found in the listing on the right side of the page just above the description box.  

When reporting the listing, select these options:
1. Prohibited and restricted items
2.Illegal items and items encouraging illegal activity
3.Other illegal activity concerns

This has been discussed so much now there isn't even a horse left to beat...

I have reported listings for price gouging.  That goes for paper towels and toilet paper.

Ebay sellers do fall under a business and price gouging laws apply to the animals selling essential items and I hope I never run into the scum. I do not know why they do not just do a home invasion and take everything at once. I have elderly parents and they are going to the store and everything is gone. Elderly people risking their health to get products that is recommended to use. I hope a class action gets filed and hopefully get some money back. The sellers are not any better than a thief.
