Do these sellers realize that price gouging is illegal? I mean, $1,000.00 for 1 ounce of USED hand sanitizer while our nation is facing virus that is killing people is not just wrong, it's illegal. Then there is the fact that as fast as eBay is taking them down they are slipping by, by relisting them time & time again. With the above mentioned item being used, it is potentially not safe anyways. I just don't get how these people are going out buying up as much as they can, keeping it out of the hands of those who fall in the at risk groups & then thinking they will get rich while people are at risk of dying! I just find it really sad that some go that low in our nation. I just really want to know why are these items still for sell on eBay & still being allowed to be posted?

I'm getting feedback that I'm being unreasonable and that people should be allowed to price what the market dictates. Using that line of reasoning, you would not have a problem with a convenience store offering cases of water for $50 after a natural disaster? We are all outraged when we see news reports of local business taking advantage of desperation. What's the difference here? If you can defend one and condemn the other, you are being a hypocrite.

After putting out over $1,000 out of my own pocket, I see ebay is still aiding and abetting the Covid-19 black marketeers. I hope people remember this when this crisis is over and punish those corporate members that did not step up.

This one slipped it past the eBay police by spelling it Ly$ol, $10.99 price with $47.99 shipping for one can of Lysol. Profits should look pretty good for ebay this quarter.

In a beautiful sign, hoarders are offering TP for free on Facebook marketplace.

And, here we are past the middle of June and the price gougers here are still at it. The Clorox Wipes and other disinfectants are the main ones I've got a problem with. I report them as soon as I see them. However, now, I've noted that they are immediately within minutes relisting their black market priced items, and sometimes altering the name in the title just a little thinking that's going to throw any of us off who are paying attention?
Last night, I reported a bunch of them, however, all of a sudden, I was not able to report them any longer. I kept getting an error message that eBay couldn't process my message now. It is still unavailable and there are dozens of price gougers now with listings for Clorox Wipes (Cloro wipes, Claro wipes) or Lysol disinfectant (Lisol, Lysal or !ysol, etc.). I contacted eBay Customer Support and they told me that until they fix this glitch in their system, to just email the sellers' names and the reason for the report to them that way and it will be taken care of. I've got a LOOOONG list of sellers' names now.
Here is just one example of price gouging I've been finding... #2336252039814.

Ebay is ignoring the black market for the most part, too much profit to turn away the "authorized" black market sellers. But the days are numbered for the ebay pirates. At Costco today, gloves 600 packs of gloves for $30, large 64 oz bottles of hand sanitizer for $7.99, disposable face masks less than 50 cents each. At Walmart, large store brand of Lysol spray for $2, cans of Lysol spray $4. Clorox/Lysol wipes widely available everywhere.
Hope the pirates choke on their inventory.

Already seeing the Costco gloves on ebay, paid $30, asking $80. Reasonable mark-up. How do these people sleep?
