Hello
I'm usually buying stuff on ebay but recently I decided to try selling an item instead. It went well at first. I put the item up for auction and it sold, the buyer promptly paid. Normally that would be the end of that but something didn't feel right. Call it a hunch or paranoia, I was literally about to buy the postage for the item when I decided to check the mailing address of the buyer. Much to my confusion it turned out to be a warehouse. Checking the google reviews of the warehouse it turns out it's a place scammers use to send goods they've brought using stolen credit cards. I've sent a message to the buyer just in case it was a legitimate buyer that got hacked but I'm not holding my breath. Probably will relist the item in a day or two to give the seller time to respond if their account really did get hacked. Just thought people should know so they don't get scammed as well.
If anyone is curious it was going to be sent to a warehouse owned by Qwintry Logistics in New Castle, DE. They seem to be a legitimate business but their goggle reviews say otherwise.

It is a fright forwarder that International buyers use when sellers don't ship to their country.
Yes, a lot of scammers use them, but so do a lot of honest buyers.

That's all true.
Many working people that have no one at home during the day have items shipped to
their workplace.
I've done that myself and have many buyers that do the same.
My wife works in a Dentist office and all the employees have items shipped to the office
rather than left sitting on the front step at home.

First, as an inexperienced seller you should not have been listing an expensive electronic item, especially the item that you sold as it is one of the most highly scammed items. It is irrelevant that the scammer is using a freight forwarder. Qwintry is a legitimate business, just one of many freight forwarders used by international Ebay buyers. You would have been just as likely to be scammed out of your item if you had sold it to someone with a US address.
Anyhow, you should indeed cancel the sale and just take the final value fee loss and hit to your seller rating. Expect a neg as well. The only person to blame is yourself for listing that item. Just try selling it locally for 20% below your Ebay price and you will net out about the same with no risk.

Oh, I didn't know that. Thank you for letting me know. I was literally about to cancel the transaction but I'm still a little paranoid about it. I guess I'll just put on some extra protection on the item (insurance and signature requirement) just in case.

Yep, I have stuff sent to my work, too.
The only issue I've had is some orders from "the river", where drivers would leave packages after we close... At a business all by itself... A couple of times on a Friday evening, and we are closed Sat and Sun, so since tracking showed delivered I had to go get it before someone else did, smh. 1 time the owner had 3k worth of car parts like cylinder heads, ect left like that. A friend driving by saw packages and picked them up for him before someone stole them!

scammers use this address when they ask the seller a question or "text me", request overnight shipping to avoid detection, high priced items, they send a fake PayPal invoice. If you actually got paid and buyer has good feedback I would not worry to much. In the end it's up to you.

The item you sold, there's no way I would sell it on the Internet.
It doesn't matter what type of protection you use, if it's a scammer, they'll end up with the item and their money back.
And it doesn't matter if it's an International buyer or across town, they can screw you just as easy.

Yes, that would be a problem with Amazon, as they deliver 7 days a week.

If you knew how many PS5 transactions went sideways on eBay, you'd be dumbfounded.

After reading your post over and over a few times, and everyone else, I have come to the conclusion that you should not have even looked at the shipping label, and you should have shipped the item. I would have to. Maybe your just not cut out to be a seller on eBay, at this time, at least not high end items, start with lower cost items, I put extra insurance on my items, Good luck

Hope the buyer understands that it would require a different plug than we use in North America, or an adapter for their country's outlet. The "All Regions" note may only mean that the voltage can be switched between 110 and 220 not that it comes with the power cords for all applications.
