This is now on the offer screen. It never said this before. Read your offers carefully.
ebay if you’re gonna make us accept terms then make the terms box visible.
If I don’t get back here today it’s because another one of my old dogs had a serious surgery yesterday so I’m kinda busy. Not ignoring anyone.

Yep, I brought this up many months ago.
At the time it was a Beta test, and not all were in it.
Looks like they rolled it out on all of us now.
I just had an offer the other day.
One place it says offer is for the price of the item only.
Small print... And any conditions the buyer has included.
Left hand meet right hand.

Yep, it's been that way for a while now, and it really sends mixed messages. I haven't made a best offer in a while, so I don't know what's seen on the buyer side. Sorry about your dog, I know how that is Hope he recovers quickly!

Another frustration! I try to check all that stuff very carefully but since I have aphasia, very carefully isn't always enough; one of these days I'm gonna make a mistake with Best Offer and it will probably be a big one. That is the stuff of nightmares.
Really hope that your dog will do well with his surgery. Best wishes!

Oh, that IS sneaky! Thank you for sharing, I don't get BO very often, but will now be sure to check the offer over more carefully. Sorry about your dog, hope he/she has a speedy recovery

Unfortunately, here it's usually Left Hand meet Right Foot.

I've had problems with offers in the app. Terms not showing or the price/qty being ambiguous (am I accepting 3 items at $5 each or 3 items for $5???) eBay sneaks changes into things like this all the time.
Yes, DO NOT reply to offers from the phone apps. They don't always show the terms. I always go to a desktop or login to eBay via the browser on the device to make sure there aren't any buyer terms on an offer.

I would expect that eBay still means that a shipping change (such as asking for free, or reduced) is not part of the offer, but as usual it just is not clear.
They refuse to understand that the statements that they put out there just are not understood by everyone the same way.
It has been suggested that they make it a clear, without any doubt, type of statement about shipping, but it just does not sink in that what they write can be view in different ways.

We were told in a recent chat that if a buyer puts free shipping in the terms we are expected to ship free. I just wish eBay would tell us where all this free shipping is available. 😂😂

I can’t find the post I was looking for but read the screenshot from Trinton when he was asked about this by another member. When I asked I was told it’s good customer service to abide by the terms. I had to edit to remove the members user ID
