Preference "Require immediate payment when buyer uses Buy It Now" Selected but.... buyer doesn't pay immediately.
Questions - How immediate buyer has to pay when this preference selected? What actions are available when the buyer still doesn't pay immediately? Thanks.

If Require Immediate Payment is checked, the buyer cannot even buy without paying. It just doesn't even come through as a sale until they pay.
If that's not happening, you may not have it turned on for that item that was bought using Buy It Now.
Actions for now? They have 4 days to pay, if they don't, you'll have a new option at day 4 "Cancel > Buyer Didn't Pay".

This was not an auction, correct? It was fixed price? Did you accept an offer, or send an offer the buyer accepted?

The latest sale that I see on this ID was "best offer" sale.

It was Buy it Now option or Best Offer. The buyer sent me an offer, I counter offered, buyer accepted.
Now it shows buyers hasn't paid yet and waiting for payment.

So the Require Immediate payment turns off with best offer sale? Still available option to select though.

This is an eBay option on the Sell Your Item form.
Just including it in your Description is meaningless.
You can't add the Immediate Payment Required option to an Auction.
If you accept a Best Offer the IPR option is not available.
In both of those cases, there is no particular reason to believe the buyer is at their computer when the purchase is made.
IPR is only available on Fixed Price listings purchased at the seller's asking price.
The customer sees, the customer orders.
If they do not pay immediately, the listing stays active and visible until someone does pay.
So a customer may decide to buy your Purple Frangozzle NIB, wander off to find their credit card and complete the sale, and return two minutes later to find the Purple Frangozzle has sold to another customer who made payment immediately.

Best offer negates immediate payment required. Your buyer has 4 days to pay, if they haven't paid by the start of the fifth day you can cancel for non-payment and give them an unpaid item strike.

That is not possible.
The buyer can't buy unless they pay IF you have immediate payment required turned on.
