Posting on from a uk address

Hi all

Im new and didnt realise this forum existed so im hoping peeps can help me.

I sold a fragile item which the buyer asked me to wrap and send with bubble wrap chips as they wanted to send onto an address outide of the UK.

I didnt have chips but i wrapped it in  bubble wrap and loads of newspaper and packaged it so it didnt move.

Theyve now emailed saying its arrived in onwards location and its broken. Theyre saying i should have wrapped it as they asked.

Whos at fault here?

Thanks

You are only responsible to get it to the buyer undamaged.

Did you post the item to the buyer, and then the buyer posted the item outside of UK?

Keep the messages from the buyer, you might need to show them to ebay if the buyer files a claim.

As mentioned by the previous poster, unfortunately, eBay's software has misdirected you to the discussion boards for the US site (ebay.com). You'll want to post this question on your "home" board so it can be better--and more accurately--answered by your fellow sellers.
