Another nail in the seller’s coffin. Being told by eBay which carrier to use, and how much to charge. I think the private seller is slowly being squeezed out. Ebay want everyone to have a business account, so they can make more money. I’m going to list everything for collection only. But it’s probably only a matter of time before eBay forbid the collection in person option. I’m not happy.

This is the US seller forum, so the issue you raise is likely not one that many people here can address... other than to say we hope it does not happen here!
Perhaps post to the UK seller boards??

Hi, As noted in the other post, you're on ebay.com, which is the US site. eBay policies and procedures for the US are not the same as for the UK, so you'll get better replies if you go to
https://community.ebay.co.uk/

UK is going full State totalitarian - getting to a point where I don't want to do business with them. Most of Europe is going full totalitarian.

Letting Private sellers sell without final value fees seems like a weird way to squeeze you out. It would make more sense to raise the fees if they wanted to get rid of private sellers.
