Im selling 3 pokemon 1st edition empty wrappers, was sent an email thru ebay asking how were they opened. When looking at how i listed i realized i left that info out. So i go to revise and add the info and wasnt able to because the buyer had placed a bid. So i looked at the bidders feedback and the comments ranged from great buyer to won auction but never payed, scammer acusations, etc. I realize my mistakes listing them but as it is there have been no violations commited I think? Theres still 5 days left and am not sure what steps to take. Anyone have this experience before? Your advice is much appreciated thank you.

I were you I would cancel the bid then correct the listing. You have it listed in the SEALED packet category which is incorrect as well.

If they look like someone you don't feel comfortable selling to put them
on your block list first so they can't bid again then cancel their bid.
Then edit the info on the auction.
Blocking a buyer on eBay
Canceling bids and managing bidders

Original pics and descript are locked but I've added info in the second description box provided, not sure if anything can be done with pics as far as adding more.......not that you asked.

All the feedback comments that say this buyer never paid or were potential scammer, all violated eBay Feedback policy. I realize you didn't leave those feedbacks, just giving a heads up to anyone else that is read these boards that sellers cannot leave negatively worded feedback for buyers.
How is this buyer a scammer because they placed a bid and then asked a question?
As you have discovered, once a bid is placed, even if cancelled, you cannot change much on the listing. You should cancel the listing and relist it properly or you are likely to get a claim of Item Not As Described since there are several issues.

Its not possible to revise an auction after it has received a bid, even if that bid is canceled or retracted.
Since it's listed in the wrong category, the listing should be ended, then corrected before relisting.

You made a mistake in the listing. No problem. We all make mistakes.
How does that make this guy a scammer?

good to know. I thought you could change it once the bid was canceled.
