Possible reason for sale cancellations!

I may have found a reason for some of those immediate sale cancellations! I just had to do that very thing myself. I no longer carry much money in my pay pal and linked bank accounts and I had to buy a couple of items that were more than I had in them. I decided to speed the proccess up I would use Pay Pal credit. I've done this a couple of times last year and never ran into a problem until now.

I went to pay for the one item only to find that Pay Pal credit didn't work. It told me that the vendor didn't except that currency. Thinking it was a forgein seller with  a U.S. address I would just buy from another vendor and canceled the order a minute after I bought it.

I went to another vendor and was a little more careful this time and checked the acceptable payments before I continued. I found that I couldn't pay any one with Pay Pal credit.

So today I got on the phone with Pay Pal and the CS guy told me my account wasn't linked hadn't been linked since 2013! I had him link it up for me.

Since 2013 I have have bought things here with Pay Pal credit and never had a problem. The last items I bought were nine or ten months ago.

I'm a pretty seasoned buyer and seller here if I'm having this issue just think what casual buyers are going through.

I went to the power seller board and low and behold there's this very subject.

Some how along the way users accounts have become unlinked and when they can't pay they cancel the purchase just as I did.

I'm sure I'm missing some thing here.

I've talked to a couple local friends that buy/sell on eBay and they both recently found their paypal account was no longer linked.  Also seen several posts about it so probably yet another glitch.
