Hi,
I was wondering if I might be able to get a little advice please.
I recently sold a bracelet, which was late arriving at my fault, but I upgraded the postage to first class signed for. Unfortunately there seems to have been a glitch in Royal mails system and it hasn't updated to say delivered, however I know it has been. The lady who opened the case against me, left positive feedback thanking me, however she didn't close the actual case. I know she has the bracelet, but now I'm unable to use my PayPal account as I have a pending case. Not only that, the money which I received from the sale is very much needed. I only sold it in the first place because I was desperate. Now I'm really worried I'm going to lose both that bracelet and my money all because a buyer wasn't honest enough to close it. It's currently pending right now as they're reviewing it. Could anyone give me some advice please? It would be greatly appreciated.

Contact the buyer and tell her you are pleased she has received the item, and ask her to close the case.

I an assuming this was it Item Not Received case? But your buyer alerted you to its arrival? In INR cases, the tracking details are what will inform eBay. If it does not show delivery or attempted delivery, the buyer will prevail.
However, even if the case is closed in the buyer’s favor, you may have a strong enough case to appeal the decision. Should it come to that, there is also the possibility that eBay will give you a one-time courtesy refund, so there is reason to be encouraged.
You mentioned that there was a delay that was your fault? If that precipitated the late arrival and the buyer opened a Item Not Received, that in itself does not indicate a bad buyer, even if she failed to close it. Then she left positive feedback, which further indicates this will end well. I wouldn’t worry if i were you. Good luck and hope this works out to your benefit. Please keep us posted.

You can try any of the following:
1. contact the buyer and ask them to close the case.
2. contact your postal service and ask if they can update tracking to "delivered"
3. If you lose the case, appeal with a note that the buyer confirmed delivery (if that is in fact what you're saying she did).

How do you know it's been delivered?
Just because buyer left positive feedback, doesn't mean they received it yet.
