I just received a positive feedback today with an obvious political comment - Lets Make America Great Again MAGA
I don't care about that person's political views. I just really dislike any type of political comments when it comes to MY business.
I checked what feedback this buyer left to other sellers and it is all the same political comment back up to 2016!
I am pretty sure it is against eBay's rules and I hope I can have it removed.
So annoying... just venting!

I’d call and get it removed, but also ask the rep to look at all their feedback left for others

I once had a buyer just leave the feedback comment "Build the wall". It got pushed down to the second page pretty fast so I let that one slide.
I wonder though... can the agent just remove the comment but let the positive feedback stay? That way, everyone wins.

Since am not a big seller, it would have taken time for the unwanted comment to go down to second page. And I think reporting this type of comments is important to prevent feedback becoming a political tool.
I called this morning. They removed the comment and the positive is still there. All done within minutes.
It would have been fine if they had removed the positive as well. 🙂

This folks is the difference between a Liberal and a Conservative. If she were conservative (American) she would have laughed at someone that left a "Bernie is the best" comment.....

Is "Let's make America great again" really political statement?
How about "God bless America"?
How about 'Support our troops"?

I think i've seen before ... a positive feedback but the comment replaced with "comment removed by ebay".

Yes, very much so. It is a political slogan originated and used by a specific politician for political purposes. One would have to be able to take it completely out of context to not see it as a political statement, and that could probably only happen on Mars, which is where I think I am living these days.

I thought it was just a sentence. You think Trump originated "Let's make America great again"? You must think very highly of him.
"It's time for a change."
"Let's make a difference."
"Working for you."
'The clear choice."
"Working for you."
"Your voice for a positive change."
"Standing up for what's right."
"Keep moving forward."

I agree with you. I've never ever considered leaving any feedback other than pertaining to the sale. The trouble is anything you say now days can be offensive to someone.

That first comment is also a slap on the face to every previous President too. It's really offensive when you think about it. Very offensive.
It's only a slap in the face to ONE President, and many of us feel it's richly deserved.
