Please help! The item didnt have anything wrong!

Ok, I'm still new to this with selling. What do you guys do? I sold a lot of items and they were Hot Wheels cards. The lot was worth more then he nodded for. Great shape, no creases or bends. He now says that one had two slight creases and a few had soft corners. What would you guys do? It was a lot of like 8 valuable cards. I feel like I'm being scammed because I always note any flaw and take pictures of it.

Re: Please help! The item didnt have anything wrong!

Thank you guys for all of your ideas. You guys have given me alot of advice for the future which is why I came here. No one in my family sells on eBay so I can only learn from you guys. I have since been changing my listings to say something like Cards are Not Mint, etc.... and I take more pictures of the bottom and sides of the cards. I am also making more notes in the descriptions. Do you guys offer free returns to be Top Rated Sellers? I want to but would like to have the buyers pay shipping but it doesn't qualify the item unless I do free shipping. Is this something i can make notes in my description about and override the 'free shipping ' and say in my own words that buyer pays return shipping?

No. If you offer free returns you can't override that in the description.

Sure. I understand. I've gotten those types of buyers, too. They are everywhere these days. If there are flaws, I describe them accurately. Some buyers are going to be super picky, just to avoid return shipping costs or fish for an after-delivery discount. Can't be helped, I don't think.

It's the combination of the general 'may have x, y, z, p, d, or q flaws' disclaimer and a stock photo of a single item that annoys me. The 'may have' wording releases them from having to say exactly what flaws are present, and in what quantity. I'd never buy a from a listing under those conditions. Apparently many shoppers aren't so fussy.

Déjà Moo: The strange feeling that I've heard this bull before...

What do you do when you draw the line sort of speak? What do you say to the buyer at that point?

I didn't think so but ran across another seller who did just that. So I was confused...I'm still learning and trying to understand the best ways to operate as a business. I'd rather ask you guys then to do something the wrong way.

Re: Please help! The item didnt have anything wrong!

Thank you. I also didn't know that the upc would help with finding listings. The only reason I put may contain was because of this buyer. Should I take that off my listings? I see ppl do this and say things like, I am human and make mistakes, and such in their listings. I only listed the flaw, if any, in the beginning..but started rethinking things when someone tried saying I missed something and wanted a partial refund. I look them over under a light very closely, but I know I will have those few that do this I guess.
