I used to use JPEG file to download pictures in the description section while selling. It seems to me that JPEG doesn't exist. What do I use to download pictures in the Description
Thank you

Are you talking about photos in eBay's upload area or in the description itself? JPEG or jpg is just a type of file format - it's supported by eBay, same as png. eBay supports it for uploading (or drag and drop) into their photo app. If you're uploading photos into a description they need to be from a secure site but can still be jpeg/jpg/png.
First try changing the file extension from jpeg to jpg and see what happens. If you're using windows it may flash a warning - just hit 'ok' and save.

ou used to be able to add any picture to the description area by inserting the url of the picture that was hosted somewhere else. Now no active content is allowed.

I use my IPhone when taking pics. When I make my listing on my laptop, I put the listing on "Save Draft". I then pull up the listing on my phone and just insert the pics from there.

@charrette1024 What kind of error message are you getting?

Do you need to upload more pictures than the free 12 pics that you can upload in the ebay gallery? Personally I dislike pics in the description, just more to scroll through.

This was usefully when selling a vehicle, 12 pictures is not enough.

I run into that when I sell bicycles. Sometimes I make collages.
