Pick Up buyer has not provided Pick Up QR code. How do you close off the sale?

Buyer had a third party pick up an it item they had paid for.

After several messages Buyer has not supplied the 6 digits for the QR code they would have received.

I can not close off / complete the transaction without entering the valid code.

How can I get around this.

I don't want it to reflect on my Seller status.

PS there is no issue with the sale, buyer is happy with their purchase.

If you already released the item, not much you can do if they don't give you the code.

If buyer has written to you they are happy with the item, contact ebay and update them and reviewing the message, should be able to adjust the order status for you.  Explain they sent a third party, its the buyer that made giving you the code not possible because they didnt supply it to their proxy.  Their message saying they like the item confirms the pickup occurred and they have the item and are also happy with it.  More than enough proof to have ebay change the order status.

Nothing in writing, confirmation was by phone at pickup.

Unless the buyer claims that they never picked it up I do not believe that this will cause any problem.

It won't reflect on your seller account, no worries there.  In the future, though, don't hand it off to a third party without getting that code first (they don't have to have the QR code that's scannable, there's a 6 digit numerical code with it that works over the phone or through someone else giving it to you).  For now, you should be able to choose Archive Sale if you just want it off your "Awaiting Shipment" page.
