Physics question: watchers but zero views; how is that possible?

I’ve got a listing with zero views, but watchers. Is ebay’s View thing glitchy today? Or ???

You can watch items straight from the search page without ever having to click on the listing itself.

You can also have a an item sell with no views.

Watchers watch.

Buyers buy.

Watching an item now that I plan on possibly buying if I lose the auction I have a bid on.
I just clicked on watch without viewing it.

I do it all the time. Those little heart icons sure help buyers track potential purchases more easily. Although you could do it before too.

Thanks! That’s a new one to me. I’ve never done that! I always look at all the photos, read the descriptions before watching. I think. Anyway, good to know!
