Photos feature coming soon for feedback??? Why? Horrible Idea!

So I just went to leave feedback for something I purchased and noticed the "coming soon" feature of posting photos to feedback.  As if the long feedback option wasn't bad enough... lets make things even worse and allow angry buyers to post photos pointing out everything that is wrong.

Honestly, this couldn't be a worse idea.  It will be totally unhelpful.  So when someone leaves a negative feedback and says "hat doesn't fit" and a photo of their big head with the hat not fitting will really stick it to me!  Wow!  Guess I am late on all of this as I know other posts have been made.

Can eBay stop having aspirations to be a social media site?  Crazy.

there is difference between social media and online selling platform , it will give open space for scammers to scam sellers with open hand.

I think it is a great idea.  Photos are proof of what a reviewer says.  I am sure sellers won't like it.  I say kudus to you eBay! Let's hurry up and get those pictures posting, When I check out reviews on other buying sites,that are absolutely not social sites, but buying sites, the first reviews I look at are the ones with photos.

As of today 1/11/24 it's letting you post photos in reviews, but they aren't showing in the feedback yet. I hope they do soon, as a buyer photos are very helpful to my making a decision.

Ebay allows sellers to reply to feedback

It's time for eBay to recognize thatFB is a relic of the 20th century internet whenit was edgy and scary to buy from a stranger  thousands of miles away and now is howwe send birthday wishes to Aunt Carol and buy pizza.

How about replacing it with number of successful transactions and a percentage of disputes and claims against transactions?

As in-  1000 successfully completed transactions.  Less than 1% Disputes and Claims.

With the percentage reflecting all D&C won or lost.
