Good evening community! I received the dreaded MC011 message from eBay. I went through all of their questions, supplied my proof of identity, a copy of of a utility bill as well as a receipt from Target with my purchase (AirPods) that I was selling on eBay. I also provided/showed that all the items were delivered with MULTIPLE positive feedbacks on the items as well as have 100% positive feedback with over 337 positive feedbacks. Regardless of what i showed it wasn’t good enough and I now have a permanent restriction. I have a considerable chunk of change for a “payout” that is on hold and more or leas frozen. I’ve sold cards for over $6k and never had an issue, but selling iPods apprently is a huge issue. Will I ever get these released?

You purchased them all at Target store and had them in your possession before listing and selling on ebay?

There really is no way anyone here can answer your questions sorry to say. We can only speculate which isn't worth much. Keep trying to work with eBay. I have heard sometimes it helps to reach out to eBay on Facebook. And no, I don't do Facebook. Have a good one.

Good point.
EBay does allow "classic" dropshipping, where the reseller has a contract with the supplier, and the supplier does all the packaging and shipping, as well as providing pictures and descriptions.
What is NOT allowed is advertising something for sale that the reseller does not have in hand (or does not have that contract). If the reseller is advertising and only buying from his source when he gets an order , without the source's knowledge, that is not allowed.
Part of the problem would be that the reseller cannot be sure that the product they are advertising will still be available when the order comes in.
Part of the problem would be that the source is shipping from their address in their packaging. Nothing annoys a customer like getting an eBay purchase in an AZ package.
Part of the problem is that the customer now knows that he could have bought it cheaper at Target or AZ or WalMart, and eBay just lost a buyer.

Just because a order come from Amazon does not mean the seller drop shipped it from Amazon. The are many sellers who use Fulfillment By Amazon better known as FBA. The seller ships their inventory to a FBA warehouse and when one sell whether it is here on eBay, or any other platform FBA packs it and ships it for the seller.
Many sellers find FBA cheaper than to hire people to pack and ship their orders.

Facebook only handles standard issues. This particular division who makes these restrictions is not accessible by Facebook or anythjng outside of responding to their standard emails.

Your funds will be released in about 6 months to your states unclaimed funds department. You can claim them there.

Where do those funds sit for those 6 months? Who looks fat because of these funds being held? Are there any rules that interest needs to be paid on these funds if they are held for an extended period of time? Or does this just make eBay and/or Adyen look fat for 6 months holding someone else's money?
