I moved from a non-sale state (OR) to a sale state (TX) 3 months ago and haven't sold anything for the last 5-6 months. Trying to sell an item today but they permanently restricted me from selling. I called Ebay they told me that i'm banned because they sent me 2 emails asking to update sale tax options in my account and i didn't meet their deadline. I didn't see their emails due to Gmail moved them in spam box because Ebay keeps sending me their ads and promotion emails weekly. Is there anyway to lift this restriction? Thanks

Oh come on. Looking at those screenshots, it's obvious that there's a glitch somewhere. No one in their right mind would set sales tax at 100% for any state. eBay should take another look at this. The seller wasn't even selling while these nonsense tax rates were in effect. He should be able to correct the "mistake" and get his account back.

It looks more like an adolescent prank than any kind of a computer glitch, virus or hack.
SOMEBODY logged on to the OP's account set up that tax table. And, sellers are responsible for their accounts.
But, that's why I let the OP know how they can contact eBay customer service outside of the phone system. That's the only chance they have to get their selling privileges back.
