Paypal Pop-up not working

I am usign Firefox ona macbook, and in the past couple of weeks I can no longer buy stuff on ebay using paypal.

The pop-up window comes up - where previously there was a whole page?- I sign in, I get a tick then I get the error message in the pic. Paypal can't figure it out, and so far neither can ebay. I just dont return to the ebay page with the 'confirm and pay' line highlighted.

Despite altering my paypal settings. nothing seems to work.

Any suggestions?

Are you sure the sellers you buy from accept PP?  Ebay is moving toward their own payment system and presently some sellers who are part of that no longer accept paypal.  Supposedly that will change sometime this year and PP will again be accepted, but right now a buyer can't use it for certain sellers.  Look at the payment info on the listing and if PP isn't listed, you have to use a cc.

Have you tried a different browser? My gut is that this will turn out to be a FireFox issue, not a PayPal issue.
