I know eBay has restricted long time sellers that bring hundreds of dollars in revenue for the platform over nothing but it's hard to understand sometimes on what goes on in the background when they decide to do that.
Got an email saying my payouts are on hold and this is just a routine process while they review my performance. I wasn't worried since I have been TRS seller with excellent service metrics for over 2 years. However, got another email today with MC011 code asking to "resolve any outstanding issues with buyers in eBay's resolution center"
I had 2 INR cases both with confirmed delivery with tracking uploaded and still had time remaining before the "solve by" date. In any case, I always win these cases since tracking shows consistent updates and confirmed delivery scan
Right before this hold, I also had 2 returns that turned into a case since buyer never shipped the return back. This is a usual scenario where eBay automatically steps in and closes the case to my favor, but I don't understand how that would cause an MC011 trigger. It's not my fault buyers never returned the items back.
I resolved all the cases and replied back to their message. While I am anxiously waiting for their reply, sales are still going through, and my listings are still up, but no promise to get any of my money back due to this restriction. I am planning on shipping every order out as usual but also nervous that eBay might decide to follow with suspension as I have read so many of these cases end up going down that route.
Has anyone else went through a similar process and actually was able to lift the restriction?

Has eBay asked for receipts of where you are purchasing your products yet?

Not yet, but I started gathering them in case they ask for it. Not sure how far back and for how many of my listings they would require that. It's impossible to get invoices for every single item listed

Something must be going on lately.
Maybe a glitch.
'had 2 returns that turned into a case since buyer never shipped the return back'
I had the same problem with a remorse return...no return...no tracking...opened for 35 days.
eBay put a 'Refund buyer' which I did on day 3 of the request.
Glad I did!
Someone else here today also mentioned about something like this.
Could be a glitch going on.
I glad the refund and decided not to contest it.

Not sure how far back and for how many of my listings .....

I am going to take a wild guess and say the "Apple Products".
